Minor bleeding @ 2 weeks post-op
First time posting here. On April 27th, I (30, he/him) had a laparoscopic total hysterectomy leaving behind just one ovary as a safety precaution in case Tr*mp and his cronies take away my HRT.
From day 2 onward, pain was minimal to nonexistent. I’ve only taken acetaminophen as needed (pain has not been above a 2) pretty much since day 5 or so. My four tiny external incisions are fully closed up. There’s a big bruise on my lower belly that looks pretty gnarly (purple and yellow in color) but is absolutely painless.
Bleeding/spotting was also very mild the first week and almost stopped completely a couple of days ago. Between last night and today, I’ve passed 2-3 small clots. It’s accompanied by some light bleeding and minor cramping (probably a 1-2 pain at most) which I assume is from the stitches dissolving internally. I’m not bleeding heavy enough to cycle through pads every couple of hours so I’ve not been worried about it but I just want to verify with y’all that this new bleeding isn’t a concern.
