Was Bryaxis a Priestess?

I saw someone in our lovely sub post an excerpt from ACOSF. As I was reading their excerpt, I noticed Gwyn says that, though the priestesses do not leave the House of Wind library until “it is time to depart”, that they have windows in their dormitories to see the sun and feel the wind.

Remind me, what does Bryaxis ask for in her bargain with Feyre?

“Sunlight. And moonlight. The stars.”

A window, supplies Amren.

It intrigues me that in the text, Bryaxis is referred to as “it” but SJM calls Bryaxis “she”…a slip of the tongue, or a little hint?

Sharing this information as it seems many folks are not aware.

Bloomsbury is currently undergoing a “restructure” AKA laying a bunch of people off. Reports show the bulk of these layoffs are happening in the A&P business, but Marketing and Publicity across the board are probably being affected, not to mention likely management changes as the company moves to “three vertical business units, with each business unit operating its own editorial, sales, marketing, publicity, rights and audio functions.”

Marketing teams for publishers are usually bare bones, but this is likely further impacting things, and general morale. So, while folks are getting disappointed by lack of marketing, remember some folks are losing their jobs.
