10 months ago i made a post about KCD2...

In short, I just couldn't get in to it. Despite playing about 70 hours on it, it was just a bit 'slow' and although certain aspects were fun, it just never really clicked with me and I was just forcing myself to play it.

So, I took a long break from it, playing countless other games like Resident evil 4 remake, Cyberpunk-2077, GTA 5, Returnal, Ratchet and Clank, Crimson Desert, detroit becomes human, and most recently Horizon zero dawn. All of which I enjoyed for different reasons.(Although, I still havent finished crimson desert and took a long break from that too.)

However, I went back to KCD2 about a week ago and I really got back in to it. Initially, I think I was trying to compare it to fast paced, smooth, clean combat games where it is not and it's charm lays elsewhere.

There were things that I found tedious before I found myself enjoying, such as alchemy.

Don't get me wrong, there were still certain things which annoyed me about it, such as map marked objectives not actually being on the map location and just generally struggling to find certain POI. That could have just been me though. The game was also quite buggy at times which was frustrating.

But overall, I'm glad I went back to it and finished it. It was a fun game and worth the 100+ hour investment.

It doesn't quite compare to something like BG3 for me personally, which I have finished 3 full playthroughs on and after each playthrough I couldn't wait to play it again. But I'd still rate it like an 8/10 and probably would play through again.

My 2 year old lab has started biting herself excessively and spinning around. This all developed following on from her season about 6 weeks ago.

She initially went off her food about 2 weeks ago about a month after her season ended, so we bought some wet food to mix with her dry food which seemed to solve the issue.

We thought she may be having a false pregnancy. She was whining, showing nesting behaviours, holding fluffy toys, etc.

Since introducing wet food she got her appetite back now, but the past week or so after her meal times especially, she will bite her feet, back, groin, and back end. She will chase her tail obsessively and keep spinning to where I forcefully have to intervene to stop her. I'm afraid she's going to give herself hot spots or seriously hurt herself.

I took her to the vets on Wednesday about her loss of appetite last week and head shaking, as I was afraid she might have pyometra and just wanted to be sure she was ok. The vet said she was fine, and just gave me some ear cleaner. (she had been swimming a fair bit at that time, and I the vet assumed she had water in her ear or something).

The excessive biting and spinning behaviour began around Thursday/ Friday last week. So about 5 days now.

I have since started giving he Loratdaine as per the vets suggestions, but this hasn't made any difference. She is still excessively biting herself and chasing her tail. It seems to be more so in the evening and less during the day and lasts for about an hour at time.

Any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated. I've no idea what to do, whether it's allergies, related to her false pregnancy, or what.
