I bought a gameboy off Facebook marketplace and the guy had another that had a faulty screen (vertical and horizontal lines) but was in great condition so I gave him £5 for it. I thought it would be a case of soldering under the screen strip to get rid of the lines but on opening it, I can see some kind of dried up clear liquid on these 2 points. I’m guessing this is the cause? I’m a complete noob, what would I need to clean it off? What’s caused it? The gameboy is in immaculate condition inside and out!
