My sweet girl just got her first swap of bedding! She's currently running around and making her new burrows! I left about 1/3 of her old bedding for scent recognition and her lil den which she made so easy by decking out the tissue box! Now I'll be able to remove it without worries of destroying her lil sleep spot. As you may know, my poor girl was declanned by her siblings and got scratched up. I wanted to show you that she's completely healed!

Everyone meet Lil' Weenie!

This little angel is about a year old, she lived with her 4 siblings up until a couple weeks ago. There was an issue with her and another gerbil getting declanned by rest of the group, so the owner and I decided it would be best for me to take her. She had superficial cuts on her tail which have been healing beautifully, and each day she gets more comfy and confident in her new space! She stays active constantly rerouting her tunnels and burying her wheel after usage (pls lmk if this is concerning behavior, I always remove the bedding so she can get back on later). Although I hear her staying active, any advice on how I can optimize the tank for her enjoyment would be greatly appreciated!

I already have plans to get her the wheel she had in her prior tank (she prefers it to her current one lol), a sand-bathing spot, and some hangables (though she never seemed to care for them in her old tank).
