Anyone have an idea when CWB is gonna offer the RT cert ? I’m sick and tired of dealing with them crooked CGSB… I’ve heard practical results are within days for the other methods so I’m assuming the RT would be the same .. I can’t wait to get away from CGSB. Shouldn’t take 4 months for me to find out I failed my film interp for f*ck sakes
What’s everyone doing for equipment cals? I kno the norm is every 1 year by a third party which I do but this new company I’m working for is wanting my calibrations every 3 months for a god damn light meter and step wedge… like give me a fu***** break why on earth should I get em certed every 3 months. And it can’t be a in house one to boot. This is a new one to me and it’s only company specific but I contract and pay for em out of pocket so this isn’t ideal.. I don’t see why or the need to even being calibrating a stepwedge for doinks let alone a stupid light meter every 3 months .. I tell u with NDT having ur ducks in order is never enough for some companies.. seems to just keep getting shittier and shitter for us NDT guys..
