i am currently working a comms job, and my undergrad is not in finance or accounting. i want to make a career switch and get an EA, but when i look at the openings, they all require years of experience. any advice on how to get experience and work as an entry level EA?
note — my goal is to work remote.

I’m deciding currently between FAU’s hybrid program and FSU’s online program. I would like to hear people’s opinions on the schools themselves, and what the program is like, any advice at all!
FAU
- option to do full time or part time (2-4 years)
- required on campus once a week
- $371 per credit hour, about $22k tuition overall (excluding books, etc.)
FSU
- part time only (two classes/semester, 3 years)
- online only (two IRL workshops your first year, then internships)
- $444 per credit hour, about $27k tuition overall (excluding books, etc)
