Outdoor Education Laboratory closing — permanently
Longtime nonprofit summer camp. Email sent August 15, 2026:
>It is with a heavy heart that we are writing to inform you that after 48 wonderful years of offering summer programs, we have made the difficult decision to close permanently.
I was a camper at the Lab in the late '80s/early '90s, and my kiddo went for the first time this past summer. This feels like such a loss to the community.
No other details on the closure. Anyone know what happened?
