Hi!! I was just wondering how large an image would be before I have to split it so it loads a bit quicker in older browsers. I like to have my website be able to support older browsers, and my current idea is to have a fairly big image as part of my layout... however, I can't seem to find any info about this, so if possible could some of you people who have actually had experience with coding in those days to lend me a hand? c: i would really appreciate it!

Hi!! I was wondering if anyone knows about any good, customizable journaling scripts. I run a personal site/journal, but journaling on my website's a bit tough because I have to manually enter every entry with pure HTML, which has made my code clunky and hard to read. I would like to use one that still allows me to fully customize my website, and preferably one that's based on PHP or CGI-bin, and supports some sort of comment system. I've always wanted to use an older one like Greymatter/b2/early Wordpress but they can't be used on my server because my host only allows for PHP 5.2 and above (edit: it also supports PHP 8+, don't worry, and i am willing to change versions) ;___; If there's any similar ones like these still out there please let me know!!
