Missed my LSE offer by 1UMS point

Yes, I did indeed miss my LSE offer by just one UMS point. I am indeed very devastated as I have worked so hard for it. My condition was to acquire AAA in my a levels and I have got Astar AB instead, thus missing my offer. I am aware that it is the equivalent however LSE is very strict with their conditions.
The solution in my case may seem simple, just to get it remarked but the problem is is that the subject in which I got a B is Art and Design (Fine Art) which is an internally assessed A-level moderated by external moderators (Pearson). The only way I can potentially change my grade is through the service 3 appeal which basically assesses the fairness and critique of the external moderators. In other words, it's something different from marking an individual paper and the process could take up to 35 days because they will have to mark the whole art class (I am not singled out). I have always been an excellent Art student and I firmly believe that I have not been awarded the grade I deserve.
The deadline for appealed grades for LSE is the 4th of September and due to the nature of the service 3 appeal I am likely to miss it (there is no priority marking). I have spoken with LSE multiple times and they have told me that the only way I can get my place back is through the improved appealed grade and that the deadline cannot be extended. I am very stressed out as LSE was my dream and my insurance choice is Queen Mary University of London. I could lose my spot entirely because of one UMS point.
I am also an international student and I have to apply for a student visa which just makes the situation even more difficult as it takes a considerable amount of time to get it.
Has anyone missed an LSE offer and successfully had a grade changed after an appeal?
Has anyone dealt with Pearson Service 3 or a delayed appeal?
Has anyone experienced issues with the LSE appeal deadline?
