Is this not plain hooliganism? A man allegedly assaulted after an OTP/language dispute

The man says that after he gave the OTP to the cab driver in Marathi, an argument broke out. the cab driver and other drivers later followed him after he finished work and that he was attacked near his workplace.

Look at the number of people involved in the confrontation. This isn't some simple disagreement between a passenger and a driver anymore. If a group of people followed someone after work and beat him up, that is straight-up mob behaviour and hooliganism.

You cannot demand that a person stop speaking his own state's language and then allegedly gather other people to intimidate or assault him when he doesn't comply.

This shouldn't be brushed off as a “small argument.” If someone was actually followed from their workplace and assaulted by a group, that deserves a proper police investigation and accountability.

Watch the entire video before commenting. The question is simple: if someone can be chased and slapped over speaking Marathi, what exactly do we call that if not hooliganism?

"Imagine Being Denied a Home Because of What's on Your Plate"

A commenter pointed out that many Maharashtrians and non-vegetarians in Mumbai have faced difficulties renting or buying homes in certain housing societies because of their dietary habits. Instead of addressing the discrimination aspect, the influencer replied that people should not sympathize with non-vegetarians because they are "killing innocent souls for their taste."

While everyone is entitled to their personal dietary beliefs, the issue being raised was housing discrimination.

"Do people realize Mumbai is a coastal city whose culture and cuisine have been built around fish and seafood for centuries?
