Let's see if anyone can help me figure this out :
If Gavan Infinity and Omegahorn are supposed to be part of the same multiverse, where the characters travel between different universes, and we were told in Gavan Infinity that there’s a Gavan in every universe, shouldn’t there be one in Omegahorn too?
Is this a plot hole, or is it something they’re saving for later?
But honestly, I’m really suprised with these first few episodes of the series. 😊
I had my doubts at first. Even though the show looked really good, it only had one costumed hero, just two kigurumi, no mecha or villain props, somewhat simple worldbuilding... and Pokemon and that kind of thing aren’t really stories that appeal to me. I was worried it was going to be nothing more than a monster-of-the-week show with low budget.
But I’m extremely pleased with what we’ve gotten so far!
The story feels super smooth, the villains are really interesting and diverse, every episode’s plot feels engaging and not very “episodic”, I love the worldbuilding, the fights look amazing, and the VFX are incredible. Even the kaiju fights have been blowing me away (it’s so hard to make a model of a forest, a CGI water creature, and an actor crawling on all fours look good, and yet they’ve somehow made it absolutely epic! 😮).
Not to mention how charismatic the protagonist and supporting cast are. 💖
Even at first, I thought the introduction of the cast and the Gavan Infinity plotlines felt really sudden, and I was worried they’d take up too much of the show in a disconnected way, but it’s all been handled so smoothly and mysteriously!
Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely loved Gavan Infinity its characters, and its story. Even with its abrupt ending and not very well developed main plot, and I think it gets criticized unfairly. But this series feels like it learned from its narrative mistakes and dared to make a tokusatsu series that completely breaks the mold!
I really hope the series continues doing well, that the sales support it, and that more people start watching it. It deserves every good thing that comes its way! 😁❤️🔥
