Post endoscopy pain

Just got an endoscopy on Monday including biopsies and have had some excruciating pain eating my bland diet. It’s been four days but got about 2 hours of sleep last night. The pain comes in waves, when it’s bad I have trouble even swallowing my saliva down. I had to sit up in bed to feel ok. Doctor said this isn’t normal but probably just from the biopsies. Anyone experience this?

Im wondering i need to get my gallbladder checked our something.

Living in Uvita for one month

Last year was my first time in Costa Rica and I did Samara Monteverde and la Fortuna.

This year I am considering staying there for a month in January in Uvita, which would probably be most similar to Samara.

Some things I personally didn’t like about Samara I went in November is it almost felt too sleepy. We were going to restaurants and we were the only ones there and it felt very small and sometimes pretty dark. I also didn’t think the beach right in town was very nice and thought the horse poop everywhere was pretty gross. Was also a little bit bummed about the lack of mammals to see since I had read so much about sloths. The snorkeling didn’t even seem that amazing.

My question is do you think that Uvita will be a better fit for me in January? Is it a little more lively than Samara? I’m worried that there won’t be enough for me to do. I’m not really just to sit on the beach and do nothing person. I do want to do some hiking and be in a social atmosphere. There’s surfing and better snorkeling I think?

I do not have kids so doesn’t matter on kid friendly.

Shoulder / neck pain for almost year

Hi all I’ve had shoulder neck pain for almost a year now that started the day after I paddled a raft on River. One month prior to that I was in a car accident not a very big one but car very quickly turned 90 degrees getting hit. Car was totaled. We’re still not 100% sure if it’s nerves or muscle but my right trap and down back to the side of right shoulder has been super tight in pain ever since. Neck is tight and sore and it all gets worse with any impact. Right shoulder as far out as deltoid gets painful with push ups/planks. I’ve done a cervical spine MRI and have degeneration severe stenosis left side C6 and moderate on right C6. Also had an EMG done which came back normal.

It’s odd it’s severe on left when shoulder pain is all on right. I did a steroid shot in right C6 and it didn’t help at all. Also odd EMG was normal.

Physiatrist thinks it’s still my neck. I still don’t have a shoulder MRI. Pshysiatrist wants me to try shockwave therapy now.

PT said my scapula/shoulder is not functioning right but wants to focus on cervical spine because discs are moving too much or not enough right now.

My question is does this sound like just my neck or am I stupid at this point for not getting a shoulder MRI?

Also my cervical spine MRI showed a protuding disc at T1 but doc said that wasn’t clear enough in imaging too see so also considering thorasic spine mri.
