It’s 2:45 PM and there are long-duration traffic jams on 495 South from I-93 in Andover down to the Rte 3 interchange in Chelmsford. No vehicle accidents or lanes blocked either.

It’s just as bad as leaving Boston on 93 but you’re in a much less densely populated area. So why is this stretch of 495 frequently jammed?????
