Businesses/Restaurants to flesh out a day in Bywater and on Freret Street
Hello fine people of r/AskNOLA , my wife and I are making our fourth trip to your great city since 2021. We've done our fair share of exploring the Quarter and the Garden District, but with our trip this year my objective is to break new ground in areas we've only seen at surface level.
In Bywater, we've only really been to Saint Germain. While this is a must-return each trip for us, I've got an eye on Chance in Hell Snoballs, Nightbloom, Acamaya, Satsuma Cafe, and Bacchanal.
Over on Freret Street, my search is primarily centered around Cure, as I've had it on my list of "must sees" and have not yet seen it. Other things in that neck of the woods I know we'll be interested are Humble Bagels, Ruthies Frozen Custard, Dolfys, Bearcat, Pigeon & Whale.
You can probably tell that our trips are primarily food-motivated, but we're definitely looking for ways to flesh out a day spent in these neighborhoods.
Info that may assist in terms of recommendations - we're staying at Columns, and then swapping to Hotel Saint Vincent after a few days.
Thanks, and can't wait to once again touch down at MSY.
