i bought this venus fly trap on saturday but it’s wilting already. I put it in my windowsill and im pretty sure it’s getting enough light. I kept it in the plastic container that you buy it in until today. I also didn’t water it until today because i didnt have anymore distilled water. It’s still in its original pot and soil because im not too sure how to take care of it. This is my first carnivorous plant all the other plants i have are succulents. any advice is greatly appreciated!!

i just got a venus fly trap from trader joe’s on saturday and it looks like it’s wilting already. I placed the plant in my window sill with all my other plants immediately after getting it so i don’t think lack of light is the problem. I didn’t water it until just now because i didn’t have anymore distilled water. the plant’s ‘mouths’ won’t close on anything anymore. they stood taller when i got them (idk if it was just because of the plastic container trader joe’s put them in) but they’re shrinking now. I didn’t move the plant from the pot or soil i got it in neither i have no idea how to take care of anything other than succulents lmao

i have a bunch of supplies to start it myself but i went to a craft studio that had whip glue and did it there. I gotta figure out how the piping better and i did a bunch of different styles and then put charms on top of the spots i messed up on. Anyway does anybody have any good etsy shops or whatever that has charms like the skull panda? also please ignore minnie and mickey i’m gonna color their pupils bigger with a sharpie later ik they look freakish :(

Im very new to decoden and I don’t have any of the materials to make anything yet and the tutorials I’ve seen for this don’t have the materials listed. Any advice and tips would be appreciated!!
