OB & Hospital to deliver at Recommendation
Hi all! I’m very new to the area, and we’re expecting our first, so I’m looking for OB and hospital recommendations.
A few wants/needs:
Ideally, I’d like a hospital that’s above a Level I/II L&D center.
I need an OB who is comfortable managing and prescribing progesterone throughout pregnancy.
I’m looking for someone who is very patient-centered and supportive of low-intervention births when appropriate, but also comfortable with surgical delivery when medically necessary.
I’m totally open to a C-section if it’s recommended, but ideally I’d like an OB with a lower C-section rate who doesn’t jump straight to surgery and will try other appropriate approaches first.
Would love to hear about your experiences and recommendations! Thanks!
