How’s the humidity this year? Seems like July and early August were way worse than usual.

I’ve been living in nyc for over ten years and haven’t felt humidity this high so often. It seems like some weeks we get dew points in the 70s for a week straight. It feels worse than the 100 degree days sometimes, especially in the mornings and nights when the moisture really comes out.

How do you enjoy camping when it’s this humid?

Intermittent low voltage

Since a few weeks ago, some of my outlets have been experiencing low voltage in the evening hours, usually 5pm til late. It only affects some of the circuits, but causes lights to go dim, the microwave takes twice as long, and sometimes my chargers don’t even work.

I’ve had someone look at the outlets from my building and they claim it’s a con ed issue. I’ve reached out to con ed but have not heard back.

Should I bother my landlord again or file a 311 complaint?

I live near the Jefferson stop in a six unit building for reference

WARNING! guy walking around touching himself with his hand in his shorts

Just saw a guy whacking it underneath his shorts. He started following someone and luckily people noticed and scared him away. Be careful out there! He seemed like a homeless black man average height. Walking around St. Nicholas near Jefferson.

[NY] is it bad to date someone who works for a company that i provide services for?

So I know the old don't date your coworkers rule.

However, what about dating someone where you're a vendor for their company? My job involves weekly maintenance at offices and retail locations. I have multiple sites and I'm at each one 1-8 hours at a time, depending on the size. I usually don't interact with employees while I'm there, unless I need to access something or they ask me a question.

I've matched with two women on hinge who work at companies where I could potentially have to visit, but currently not on my weekly schedule.

Should I avoid going out with them on the off chance I'll see them at work?
