Colocrossing hacked my crypto wallet
My metamask wallet has had $15-20 worth of different tokens that have been stagnant since 2023. Just a week ago, i decided to dabble with crypto again after seeing some ads for polymarket. Created a python script that will automate opening/closing trade positions for me-- signing transactions using my private key. Added my private keys for my wallet in my .env file to start trading in polymarket. A day after, i was just shocked that my funds in polymarket along with the random tokens have been withdrawn in my wallet. These random tokens have been there for the last 2 years!! Im so glad i only put up $70 in my polymarket account
I created a ticket with colocrossing calling them out. Obviously they just denied it. Cant really trust these shady VPS providers. Not sure how big this company is, but someone in there has been watching what I'vebeen doing. Definitely have learned my lesson not to do any financial transactions on a VPS company thats shady. Sharing this out there for awareness
