Hi everyone. My name is Sandeep Bhattacharya. I am 40 years old, based in Kolkata, and I am writing this because I am going through an absolute nightmare and desperately need advice and help.
Recently, my wife forced me out of my own home. She has kept both of our properties (worth over ₹1.5 CR), our two cars, and she has our two children with her. My 18-year-old son is blindly taking her side, and I am separated from my 6-year-old daughter. I have been a full-stack developer for 20 years, building everything I have from scratch, but my life and social reputation have been completely ruined. She has posted abusive slang and pictures of me on Instagram and Facebook. On top of that, she filed a false 498A case against me, along with charges of mental torture and theft of her gold ornaments (which are actually safely kept at home and in a bank locker). I am currently out on bail, constantly wondering why Indian laws are so heavily biased against men. Do men in India have no legal rights at all?
All of this started because I caught her cheating on me. I caught her red-handed on two separate occasions, and in retaliation, she started this massive drama to make my life a living hell. She called my relatives, friends, and social media connections to completely tarnish my reputation. The only small relief I got was after chasing the Cyber Cell (SSD) for a month; they finally took action and restricted both of her Instagram accounts in India, so her content is no longer visible here.
After she forced me out, I spent a month surviving in hotels. I went to the Kolkata Police begging for help to retrieve my MacBook, my custom PC, and my hard disks. Those drives contain 20 years of my life's work—source codes, software I built, and extensive research libraries. The police just said, "We can't do anything, it's a civil matter, please go to court." I was completely stunned—WTF? Yet, when my wife falsely called the police station claiming I was doing drama inside my own flat, the police arrived in 10 minutes, threw me in a van, and arrested me. I only got out because a lawyer friend rescued me, and I still had to pay a ₹15,000 bribe just to be released from custody. Meanwhile, absolutely no legal action has been taken against her.
I finally rented a small flat three months ago. I practically begged her to at least return my work equipment so I could earn a living. Instead, she smashed my PC to pieces and sent me a video of it. I handed over three separate complaints to my local thana about this, but again, zero help or action from the authorities. I have a very ingrained habit of working on my desktop PC, and honestly, I am finding it incredibly hard to focus on a MacBook, which I historically only used for travel and emergencies.
Financially, she ruined me. She emptied all our joint bank accounts. I was left with just ₹1.5 lakh in one personal account where she wasn't a joint holder and couldn't remove the funds. But she didn't stop there—she called HDFC Bank customer care and somehow got them to blindly block all my debit and credit cards, placing a "no debit" freeze on my accounts. It took me 17 days of pure harassment to get my account back to normal. To make matters worse, those idiots at HDFC sent my new chequebook and netbanking PIN to my old address, which she refused to hand over. Thank God I managed to reset my netbanking online. I am using that one account, though I still can't use UPI because HDFC hasn't been able to enable it yet. Honestly, HDFC sucks.
I am 40 years old, and after remaining loyal to my family and building everything from scratch, I have been completely betrayed. I need to start fresh, but I am entirely out of funds. Right now, I have exactly ₹200 cash in my pocket to survive. I have no ongoing work, and my mind is so disturbed by this trauma that I can't focus for hours like I used to. In the past, I helped so many people, and several relatives actually owe me money. But now that I am asking them to return some of it, they are making excuses or simply ignoring my calls.
It takes all my courage to come here and ask for financial help. I am pushed to the absolute edge, and this entire ordeal has dragged me into severe depression and crippling anxiety. I feel completely trapped right now. Please, if anyone can help me out , I will be forever thankful

I've been working on an open-source protocol called GeoProof and would love some feedback from the Solana community.
The problem I'm trying to solve is fairly simple:
Any application that needs to verify a real-world event—whether it's a delivery, a retail visit, a human interaction for digital advertising, or a field inspection—usually ends up building its own proprietary verification logic.
GeoProof explores whether that layer can become reusable infrastructure instead.
The idea is to collect multiple evidence signals (device integrity, location, motion, timestamps, network characteristics, etc.), evaluate them against configurable policies, and produce a portable attestation with a confidence score that applications can consume.
I'm not trying to replace oracles or claim "trustless" real-world verification. The goal is to standardize how evidence is evaluated before an attestation is created.
I'm currently building the MVP and planning a Solana SDK.
I'd really appreciate feedback from builders:

Happy to answer any technical questions. I'm here to learn as much as to share the idea.
I'm a solo founder building a protocol around real-world verification.
For months I did what I thought was the right thing: documented everything. Whitepaper, technical docs, architecture, RFCs, diagrams, website... the whole lot.
Then I finally started sharing it with developers.
The feedback was brutal, but honestly, they were right.
The common themes were:
It was a bit painful to hear because I'd spent hundreds of hours writing, but it also made me realize I was optimizing for completeness instead of clarity.
So I'm changing course.
Instead of writing another document, I'm building end-to-end examples and a working MVP. I'd rather have one thing people can use than another hundred pages explaining why they should.
Curious if anyone else has fallen into the same trap.
Have you ever spent months perfecting something, only to realize you should've shipped a rough version much earlier?
I'd love to hear what changed your mindset.
I've been thinking about something recently and I'm curious what people here think.
Bitcoin does an incredible job of verifying ownership and transactions without trusting a third party.
But when an application needs to know whether something happened in the real world, things get messy.
For example:
Most systems seem to fall back to GPS, a centralized API or simply trusting whoever reports the data.
Do you think this is something Bitcoin should stay completely out of, or is there room for protocols that verify real-world events while using Bitcoin purely as a settlement layer?
Genuinely interested in hearing different opinions.
One thing I've been thinking about recently is that blockchains are great at verifying digital information—but they still struggle to verify physical reality.
For example:
GPS alone isn't enough anymore, and centralized systems require trust.
I've been working on an open protocol called GeoProof that explores using multi-signal verification to generate cryptographically verifiable attestations for real-world events.
The goal isn't to replace existing blockchains, but to provide a reusable verification layer that applications can integrate regardless of which chain they use.
I'd really appreciate feedback on whether this problem is worth solving and whether you think an open protocol is the right approach.

Documentation is public and constructive criticism is very welcome.
Hi everyone,
I've been working on a protocol called GeoProof and wanted to get feedback from protocol and smart contract developers before moving further.
The problem we're trying to solve is fairly straightforward:
Blockchains are excellent at verifying digital state, but they're not designed to verify whether a real-world event actually occurred.
Current approaches usually depend on GPS, timestamps, centralized APIs or oracle networks. In practice these often become single points of trust or are vulnerable to spoofing.
GeoProof is an attempt to define an open verification protocol rather than another application.
The architecture currently consists of:
The protocol is intentionally designed so verification logic can remain independent of any specific blockchain.
Potential integrations include Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Solana and Bitcoin-based settlement layers.
Some questions I'd love feedback on:
Documentation is available here:
I'm not looking to promote anything—I'm genuinely interested in architectural criticism from protocol developers.
Thanks!
