"Beginning Friday, June 12, 2026, at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting, Slaughter Road between Greenwood Drive and Eastview Drive will be temporarily closed to allow for the installation of storm pipes. The temporary closure will last approximately 3 days, and the road will reopen by Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Traffic control and detour signage will be in place to direct traffic around the work area.
Motorists are highly encouraged to take alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion. If the area cannot be avoided, we kindly ask motorists to stay alert, drive carefully along the detour route, and plan for possible delays. Thank you for your patience as the work to improve the roads and enhance safety is completed."

"The City of Madison would like to inform residents that, as of Sunday, June 7, crews will begin milling and resurfacing Wall Triana Highway from Coefer Boulevard north to Gooch Lane. This work will take place at night and will take approximately 2 weeks, weather permitting. We ask motorists to proceed with caution.
