Supermarket with coffee bean grinder?
Hi
Kind of a specific question, but there are a lot of supermarkets in Harlem that I don't frequent.
I am hoping to find a Harlem supermarket that sells whole beans and has an on-premises grinder. I like coarse ground coffee for cold brew/french press, but it's almost impossible to find pre-ground bags of beans like that. Fairway & then for awhile Whole Foods used to have grinders, since WF removed theirs I've been getting beans ground at fancy coffee spots, but I can't afford that atm (5lb bags have gradually gone from $60 -> $115 just since Trump's tariff nonsense began).
I do have a grinder for whole beans, but it had an electrical short a few years back & needs repair which is such a low priority I keep forgetting about it.
While writing, I found what looks like an AI-created "blog post" that suggests Lincoln Market at 233 St. Nicholas Ave might have one.
I am smack dab in the center of Central Harlem, but don't mind a walk.
Also, let me take a moment to say, R.I.P. Harlem Fairway, I miss you
