I rinse my Garmin Fenix 8 every day with water and soap and dry it fairly well, but this residue still builds up and I’m not really sure what it is.
I assume it might be salt from sweat (I’ve had the same issue with other regular watches as well)
What’s the best way to clean it thoroughly without risking damage to the watch, seals, sensors, or finish?
Is there a specific cleaning method or product you would recommend?
I’m going on a beach holiday. Can I take my Fenix 8 into the sea while snorkeling and diving?
I know it’s obviously designed for swimming too, but I’m worried about salt water.
I love my Fenix 8, and I’ve realized it’s best to wear it 24/7 but at the same time, I also love my mechanical watches (nothing fancy at the moment).
I’m constantly torn between wearing one or the other, and someone suggested wearing both (Garmin on the right and my mechanical watch on the left).
Does anyone else do this? Does it look weird, or is it more common than I think? How do you handle it? It’s good looking or bad looking?
