Nice ride with my husband through our part of South TX this past weekend

I had thr lovely pleasure of starting on a ride last week, and when I went to grab a gear, my shift paddle simply wasn't there! Has this happened to anybody else??

I'm assuming it vibrated off over time or something. I had it on a 1 up rack on the back of my car for the day prior to the ride, but it hasn't been through anything crazy.

Anyhow, time for an upgrade!

Me and my husband did a fun little ride on the Fountain Creek Regional Trail in Colorado to downtown CO Springs. Saw some prairie dogs for the first time. The trail was mostly compact gravel, but there was some loosey goosey stuff, too! I wouldnt got for it on anything less than 35s.

I'm about 7 months post op from a meniscus transplant, ACLr with allograft, and LET. Signed up for a 45 mile bike race as a PT goal awhile back. The time has finally come! wish me luck! 45 miles and 3k ft of elevation. We can do hard things!!

Finally bit the bullet and upgraded from the stock wheels. Got some Elite SLR 45s and wrapped in Pirelli Gravel H tires. Only regret is not doing this earlier.
