According to the university website, EEMC students are advised to have a Windows laptop with dedicated graphics card. However, I currently have a laptop with Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics.
So technically, my laptop doesn’t meet the requirements. However, I’m wondering how important these requirements actually are for the EE Microelectronics track. Do the courses require any software that genuinely needs a dedicated GPU?
I would prefer to keep using my current laptop if possible rather than buying a new one unnecessarily.
If anyone is currently studying EE/Microelectronics, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.

What I’m looking for:
Budget: around €100–200
Preferably a city bike / omafiets
Ideally with gears (3+)
Working brakes and lights
A bike in decent overall condition, ready to ride
Preferably with a rear rack and a lock
I’m flexible regarding the brand and model, as long as the bike is reliable and suitable for daily use.

I just got my housing from DUWO last week. It’s a two people room with the shared toilet and kitchen. I’m wondering how I can connect my future roommates in advance so that we can discuss some purchases like buying a laundry machine.

Hi everyone. I just get my housing from DUWO, a shared room prof evertslaan with another roommate. We share the same toilet and kitchen. However, I find in DUWO that there seems no public laundry in the building and I need to buy a new one myself(there is laundry connection in the room)
Does anyone live there? I’m wondering how you do your laundry. Your living experience and suggestions count. Thank you 🤝

I will begin my master study this fall. Do you have any recommendations on the gym? Is X worth to subscribe or maybe some gyms outside the campus are better?
