I am 9 weeks post op from full tear repair.they used a collegen patch to strengthen it and secured w 4 anchors.
So today, i tripped and fell on my surgical arm forearm. What are the chances that i tore this again? I am so beside myself.
So i went to a wedding last night. I'm 4 weeks post op and in a sling. I did not dance on the dance floor but i did quite a bit of swaying near my chair so my shoulder was definitely moving. And fist pumping w my good arm. Now my po shoulder feels a little sore. Please tell me i didnt ruin this whole thing. Once i reslized what i was doing, i tried to sit still.
Im 2 weeks po and totally forgot and used my surgical arm hand to pull a bag of chips open. My arm was in the sling.
What are the chances this ruined the repair?
what are the chances of retearing your repaired rotator cuff while in a sling? while waking up today, i instinctively went to stretch before i opened my eyes and felt intense pain in my surgical shoulder. once i changed my position, the pain went away but i did feel a pop. could i have damages this already?
