Trying to write my own layout, I call it z-scroll
The main idea is a vertically scrolling sequence of rows, with two windows per row.
Vertical scrolling can already be done natively with scrolling = { direction = "down" } but the column's width choices and related behaviors are limited. So, I quickly cooked this custom layout thing :)
The ability to design a workflow that suits you to the tee is amazing!
Additional plugin: https://github.com/yayuuu/hyprland-scroll-overview (I know that next update will feature an overview, will see how that goes)
Edit: this is written in pure Lua configs following Hyprland’s custom layout API btw, no dependencies needed.
