Cardiology Technologist jobs?

Any cardiology technologists who can share their experience with schooling and job hunting?

I’m an MOA and I like working in healthcare but I want to do something more technical so I have been thinking of going back to school. Cardiology technologist was one of the options that interested me but some of the info I found online says the job market is limited as there are not many needed in a hospital. Can anyone give their first hand experience?

I’m also looking into Medical Lab technologist or Medical Radiography if anyone would be willing to share their experience with those professions.

Admin Job opportunities in hospitals/health care?

I’ve been working as an MOA at a specialty practice for 5 years. No certificate, just got hired from volunteering. But the pay isn’t what I would like and there’s no opportunity for growth.

I would like to move into a job at a hospital and I’ve applied to a ton of booking clerk roles since it seems pretty similar to what I do now. But I haven’t heard back at all. I’m wondering if I’ll have a better chance if I get my MOA certificate or maybe HUC certificate? Or is it all about who you know? My hope was to get in a hospital as a booking clerk and hopefully get the opportunity to move up to a secretary or coordinator role that pays better. But. I can’t seem to get my foot in the door. Any advice?

I’ve also been considering maybe going back to school for more technical roles like pharmacy tech, MLA ,or MLT if the hiring opportunities are better. But I see a lot different information online.

TYYYY!
