My experience with Jackson & Perkins late season roses

This was my first time planting roses. I got six end of season sale bare root roses from J&P (hybrid teas and florabundas). They were $10-$13 with $26 shipping and I figured if even two made it, I'd be satisfied. They shipped out the first week of June and took 6 days to get to the Seattle area. I thought a few of them looked less than healthy, but planted them all according to the J&P instructions. I'm happy to report they all have at least some growth after 2-3 weeks in ground.

I read a quite a few negative things about Jackson and Perkins roses on some gardening subreddits, and am pleased to report that was not my experience!
