Help me choose between these two
so i just placed an order for the powerspec g760 (Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 9070xt, 32g DDR5, 2Tb SSD) for pickup tomorrow at my local microcenter.. $1963.79 after tax.
however, someone i had messaged on facebook marketplace earlier today regarding a PC they’re selling just messaged me back and agreed to an offer i made for $1600. the build description reads as follows: “Custom gaming PC has Intel i9-12900KS processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card with 16GB VRAM. It has 64GB DDR5 RAM at 4000 MT/s and 1.82TB storage. PC has Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX liquid cooler, Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB RAM, and Lian Li UNI FAN SL120 V2 RGB fans. White case has lots of RGB lighting.”
is the better Ryzen processor worth the almost $400 price increase? how good or bad is the intel chip? i know the GPUs are very similar while the 5070ti might be slightly better for certain tasks, but a 5070ti plus 64 gigs of DDR5 for only $1600 is kinda bonkers. do i cancel and get this or proceed with the powerspec? thanks in advance
