Thanks for the feedback from my first story, it got a decent amount of views for my first story and I’ll know the issues I got to fix for future stories but speaking of future stories let me go over the stories I mentioned and have planned but more detailed also I decided that the beach story will be my own original stories to canon so basically it will follow current canon sonic but I will use my own stories to fit like it’s in canon. Now the AUs I’ll make will be obvious

A Day at the Beach Sequel: this is the sequel of the story pretty much after Sonic returned from his battle with eggman, Sonic will talk with Amy about his solo adventure he told her he would talk to her about, the story will take place after Frontiers and before the beach story so that means in the flashbacks in the story Amy will also talk about her travels to Sonic this is one of the reasons why Sonic will begin to take his relationship with Amy into canon couple confirmed territory. The “villain” of the story will be an oracle where Sonic will have to conquer, it won’t be like a hands on fight but a lot of mental mind-games will happen, I won’t spoil much about it though

Modern Sonic X story: this will be a short story taking place in the Sonic X universe but it’s more modern the main story will be Amy and Sonic hanging out but she notices that he’s wearing the bracelet she made him before it broke and Amy will get emotional which will make Sonic get flustered but admit that he fixed and kept it as a symbol of their bond and relationship which will end with Sonic running away and Amy chasing him in a playful manner. Also as a side note I mainly follow Jp Sonic since that’s the best and original version of Sonic and Amy and Sonamy as a whole

Idol/rockstar story AU: this story will be a band type story where Sonic and Amy decide to become a duet after Amy finds out Sonic plays a guitar in his down time and also Amy showing Sonic her singing voice, no this story isn’t inspired of that other story I won’t admit but from an artwork on twitter and actually on this Reddit. This story will include a lot of ships, references and music from games and characters also I’m still thinking about it but I might include Sonia and manic in this story because I could see Sonia and Amy being friends and Sonia teasing Sonic to Amy about their past much to Sonic dismay (lots of funny moments) . Also what I meant by a lots of ships is basically just sonamy, shadouge, silvaze and others. The bands will be based on the ships but also there will be their own groups of well known canon teams such as sonic heroes, team Amy, team dark, team chaotix, the dimensional team (silver, blaze and marine) and jet’s squad also keep in mind sometimes collabs will happen, this will probably be my favorite story to write but I got a lot of research to do to see which music each team and character will play. This also might be my biggest story so I might save this for way in the future once I mastered how to write I might have a few others help with the story

Medieval AU, Sonic the nomad king: this will take place in medieval times also Sonic isn’t actually a king but just his title due to his status and heroics across the world but also because he’s always traveling and on the move giving him that title and legend. Now before everyone freak out Amy and shadow will be “together” but not really, in one of the kingdom’s shadow is a general and was picked to be king due to being close to the king (Gerald, key point right here) Amy is a noble and was picked but her and shadow doesn’t bounce off each other personality wise so it won’t be as serious but it will be a bit of fallout because of clashing issues of solving things, Amy hearing stories of Sonic will admire him from a distance until he visits their kingdom while traveling and stopping eggman, their dynamic will be Sonic sneaking out Amy to see parts of the world due to Amy wanting to have freedom as all her life to the present she’s been trapped behind doors, there’s a lot to go over but I ensure you the drama won’t be as crazy and outlandish as other stories as it’s a lot of lore and past events that will tie end to make sense of current events, this will be my most controversial story but I hope it will do good

Mermaid story: A friend of mine gave me this idea but it’s still fresh in my mind so I don’t have much to talk about on it but Amy will be a mermaid and sonic normal

Other one-shots and stories of ships I like: and lastly this isn’t much to discuss just a bunch of minor one-shots of sonamy, shadouge, silvaze and a few other ships I enjoy

This is a long post so sorry lol but what are your thoughts on the story and any suggestions would be great.

In a previous post I mentioned a one-shot I’m making (the beach one-shot) but it does have a backstory as to why I started creating it. Now I do like writing I’m not at professional level yet but it’s one of my hobbies. Seeing that sonamy in fandom at least hasn’t been thought of highly and rather void of good stories and content recently I wanted to step up and hopefully help encourage others to write it in a good light, I came up with a few ideas but due to the beach one-shot being an experimental and short story to get started on, I went with that, it isn’t anything special just a goofy short story of Sonic and Amy going to the beach hanging out as a couple but as I was writing I wanted the story to have a deeper meaning. I’m one of the fans that would like Sonic to have growth in his relation with Amy rather than keep him stagnant I’d want him to at least admit to Amy that he does like, the franchise is decades old and it’s about time Sonic finally grows especially after his quote in black knight when he told Merlina to live life for the fullest sure he has his freedom but he still runs from his feelings of Amy which is not living to his fullest in my eyes. This made me prepare for a sequel once I release the beach story as in the story you’d notice I’ll foreshadow a few things. Everything will explained once I release the story but the sequel will be made up of the present and the past, the present is Sonic returning after the encounter with eggman he’ll leave to go take care of in the beach story. When he comes home to Amy he’ll tell her what happened on a solo adventure he went on before the story, the past will be what happened on that story, and how Sonic and Amy actually became a couple, the “villain” will be an oracle but it will be a twist that I won’t spoil. Sorry for the long post just wanted to talk about future plans and my first story, I got many other stories planned and wouldn’t mind having other fellow writers in the Reddit to help with them if you’d like but what are your thoughts on the overall beach one-shot so far?

Tbh it’s kind of frustrating when I come across posts saying sonamy or its fans is toxic I understand that we have our bad apples but it doesn’t make up the entire community. Its usually from other users that ship different ships I won’t mention any specific to not start trouble but I wish the Sonamy community can be said in a more positive tone rather than a toxic or negative tone I could go on about this but do anybody agree or had the same experiences?

Tbh over the past months I haven’t seen as much sonamy content besides the same creators I’ve been hoping sonamy gets a boost soon so I’ve been coming up with stories to write and post and hopefully it can blow up, I hope we can come up with some suggestions I could I already came up with a few and is almost finish with a one-shot as we speak, you can talk in the comments or just dm me if you like
