I decided to copy the textures for the camo pants from late into the story as a place holder. His actual pants textures have a more "desert camo" color to them. Might end up making my own with the same camo style.

I decided to keep going and next step was the body to potentially match-up skin tones with the rest of his head. I misaligned and my laptop crashed when trying getting references from Vendetta. The hands are separate so they will be textured later. His back tattoo was the same process as his facial features. I will play around with the tone and try to properly match up the arms and body.
Not much to say but, the next step will be the pants and just from a bit of preplanning, might be slightly harder to line up. But, that's what planning is for.
I wanted to improve my graphic designing skills. What better way than to revisit a project/idea from years ago. While my laptop is going through some struggle (might be an AMD software issue), it's going to be a retro console for a while. I'm going to do custom textures for my fighters and may consider taking requests for custom fighter clothing ideas.
Making sure the face texture is great and lining individual parts of his facial features with the base texture.
On a larger scale/idea I may try to retexture a certain preset to have it compatible with some/half/most/all clothing options for said preset.
Firstly, sorry for the huge wall of text.
I wanted to share my created fighter list getting back into the game. I set their stats at 50% for the time as a small template for not being a pushover but not being too overpowered. They will have 1 front and 1 back Blazin move each based on fighting styles. I gave the first 4 fighters a bit of lore/story and a bit of a reason why they don't interact with each other but are part of the same crew. (working on it)
Kind of how The Takeover had different boroughs/districts to start in, which put you in a respective crew, each person has a location that they frequently hang out at.
After the events of Vendetta (start of FFNY) Legion, Cross, Logan, and Fury, who were cheering from the crowd except for Fury (who was booing at the winner) started to leave with the rest of the spectators as D-Mob was being taken away by Starks and Jervis. As they get into the car, still pissed with the arrest of D-Mob, Fury decides on his own initiative to rescue/free D-Mob. Not wanting to argue and knowing how much respect Fury has for D-Mob, they go along with the plan/heist. After they collide into the police car, Fury gets out to grab D-Mob and tells him to hide in the trunk before they drive off. D-Mob talks to them as Fury is driving, telling them he appreciated the help but wonders why his crew didn't help. He also tells them he's going to offer them spots in the crew but needs to see how they can handle themselves. At the safehouse, D-Mob takes one up at a time and introduces them to Sticky and Blaze. Blaze offers them a crib to chill and they choose their "section" of the crib to keep their stuff although they agreed to have their trophies in one spot. They also said they would put the trophy up for the first person that gets it.
All of them start off the circuit, battling different fighters to give the loser a chance to "post up and come back later", getting a girlfriend each after fighting Nyne for lying about the girls being with him. They have matches with Ice-T, who considers it more of a test than a fight, stopping the rounds early after he's feels he has been impressed enough. Legion, finishing his fight as the last of the 4, sits at the table and collects his winnings from D-Mob while the other 3 are nearby. Crow arrives with his goons to insult the 4 as Crow looks mostly at Legion. Logan walks off, laughing as Crow makes a fool out of Trejo. Cross walks away after Crow says "business proposition". Cross, Logan, and Fury remain in proximity as Crow makes his intentions known to everyone. The group leaves out together, discussing Crow's "proposition" nonsense, overhears a few people from D's crew considering joining them. As they head to the crib, they plan out their next set of fights with talks of joining a FFA tournament or checking out The Babylon Club.
Legion - SF, WR, KB : Loves gaming and wrestling; hangs at smoke shop in Queens when not at home livestreaming with Logan or sparring with Fury.
Cross - WR, MA, SB : Loves music and dancing; a bit of a rebel, hangs out under Brooklyn Bridge breakdancing (which sometimes he does while fighting out of habit) and vibing to music.
Logan - MA, SB, KB : Loves skating and art; occasionally chills with Chiang at the Dragon House. Hangs with Legion during smoke breaks.
Fury - MA, SF, KB : Loves to cook and short-tempered; has huge respect for D-Mob and practices at Stapleton Athletics, grew up training with Legion.
Cassius - SF only : Ex-Cop, former protégé of Starks and Jervis; was left out of the takedown of D-Mob. Decided to overtake his partners as revenge.
Judge - KB, MA : Loves to party but not chaotic; has a reputation at 7th Heaven as a ladies' man but doesn't show arrogance or narcissism.
Joker - MA, WR, SF : Loves drinking and watching kung-fu movies; usually winning drinking comps at The Limit or watching tournaments wherever there's beer.
Dragon - MA, SF, SB : Loves anime and gaming; a bit older than the rest who trains outside of the Dragon House ring, enjoys a good fight and seeks to spar/train with the best.
I may continue this as a side project (unposted) as I reach certain points in the story but wanted to give myself a reason to keep playing. I will create/change the main 4's clothing textures when I find a specific outfit I am satisfied with for them.
