Just chopped back my Dracaena marginata! 🌴
Hi everyone! I live in Argentina (not a tropical climate), and I finally took the plunge and pruned my Dracaena marginata today. It only had two bare stalks growing straight up, so I cut the tops off hoping to encourage new branches to sprout from the main stems.
I stuck the cuttings right back into the same pot to try and root them there. I also sealed the cut ends on the main stems.
Since I'm in a cooler zone/season, do you think they'll root okay directly in the soil like this? Any tips on watering or care while I wait for new growth? Thanks!
