No one seems to be talking about Trump is using the Gaza Genocide to siphon up to $10 billion dollars of Federal Government money to himself

Around a few months ago Trump unveiled the "Board of Peace", essentially an international organization dedicated to "rebuilding" Gaza. If you remember those evil AI videos of "Trump Gaza", this is what it was building up too

Notably, you might not notice Israel is on the Board. Its quite dystopian really, a country launching a genocide is on the board that is designed around rebuilding the nation it genocided.

Most relevant countries are not on the board, it's mostly a collection of completely random and unrelated nations who are fine with forgoing morality if it means sucking up to the US some more.

Most powerful nations declined the offer to join. Trump tried to threaten certain western nations into joining by threatening tariffs, but after that failed he seems to have given up on trying to court them.

What's most insane however is this might just all be a massive scam. Currently the board has siphoned around 1-2 billion dollars from the Federal government, without congressional oversight or authority mind you.

So who is the head of the organization? None other than Donald Trump himself. And it isnt just a temporary position, he is set up as the leader for life, and he has the sole power to chose his successor. The Board also seemingly does not have any oversight from the Federal government to ensure it uses the funds properly.

Genuinely dwell on how dystopian this is. A billionare president, a man so rich he uses his money to make himself the president of the USA, is using the genocide of a nation (which he is an active champion of) in order to run a phony humanitarian agency seemingly just so he can give himself even more money.

Of course, I know not every economicist is in alignment on the effects of UBI, however I just want to hear the reasons for why the two policies differ.

I understand tariffs are inherently inflationary, but I'm not quite sure I understand why the would mean specifically the dividend itself would also be inflationary, or at least noteworthy in increasing inflation.
