Another milestone✔️

I run my first 15 k today.

I don’t really know how to put it into words, but there’s something so freeing about realizing you can just wake up on a Saturday, head out for a run, and casually cover 15 km.

A few months ago, that would’ve sounded completely impossible to me. It’s kind of crazy how much your body can do if you just keep at it.

100 k in June☀️🏃🏼‍♀️

June was my second month of running consistently, and I’m really happy with my progress so far!
For the first time ever, I hit 100 km in a month 🎉
A few personal milestones:
Fastest run: 6:47 min/km
Longest run: 12 km

I know these numbers might not be impressive to experienced runners, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come in just two months. The biggest win is that I’ve stayed consistent, and I’m actually enjoying the process.
I’m excited to see what the next few months bring.

first 10 k race✔️

Hi everybody,
So I made my first 10 k race (and 2nd 10 k in my life lol) and I am so happy with the result.
If this is possible after 1,5 month of consistent training, I’m very curious where can I get in one year… ☺️

Hey!

I’ve been trying to keep my heart rate between 140–155 bpm so I can run longer distances without feeling completely exhausted.

The problem is that at this heart rate, I’m really slow (around 8 min/km). I can run faster, but then my heart rate jumps to ~175 bpm, and I feel like giving up after 3 km. I also sometimes get a headache later that day.

Has anyone experienced getting faster over time while keeping their heart rate low? Does this actually improve with training? 🥹

Thanks!
