Indian passport + Schengen residence permit stolen in Italy. Can we board Transavia with police report + soft copy?
Looking for advice from anyone who has been in a similar situation. I'm an Indian nationals currently in Sardinia, Italy
Passport and Swedish residence permit stolen (car break-in)
Italian police report (denuncia) filed
Digital copy of passport and swedish residence permit available
The nearest embassy is in Rome which can only be reached via a flight which also needs a passport to board the plan from Sardinia to Rome.
My actual flight back is on Transavia within a few days
They did not check my passport or residence permit during my outbound flight
Plan is to obtain an Emergency Certificate/passport from Indian Embassy upon arrival in Stockholm, Sweden.
Questions:
Has anyone successfully boarded an intra-Schengen Transavia flight with just a police report + digital passport copy?
