The first Austro-Hungarian ship in the WT franchise!

https://wtmobile.com/en/news/1380

We're getting our first-ever Austro-Hungarian Navy ship in the game, the Radetzky-class semi-dreanought battleship SMS Erzherzog Franz Ferdinand, as part of the next seasonal offers!

The addition of WW1-era Austro-Hungarian Navy ships to the German naval tech tree has been anticipated for some time now, and they're finally starting to arrive. Since there aren't any such ships in the PC version yet, this is a first for the whole WT franchise.

This means we'll undoubtedly get a Tegetthoff-class dreadnought battleship, the most iconic ship of the Austro-Hungarian Navy, sooner or later as well. And possibly an Ersatz Monarch-class super-dreadnought battleship, too.

New naval stuff in the update

First off, we have a new German rank VII research tree ship, the F126 Niedersachsen-class. The first ship was laid down in 2024, but the whole program got cancelled recently, making her the first cancelled missile ship in the game. (We already have a bunch of cancelled battleships and battlecruisers.)

Her armament consist of the same 127mm gun with guided shells from the Baden-Württemberg, NSM main missiles(first to use them in the game), and RIM-162 ESSM secondary missiles(one of the first to use them in the game, alongside the new Takanami). As the real ship was going to be a huge 10,000t "frigate", she is quite large in the game as well. Dunno if that's gonna be a plus or a minus for survivability.

I'll write a detailed review after actually getting and using it.

Next pics are the fully upgraded specs of the new rank VII blueprint ships, the Japanese Takanami and the French La Fayette(first French ship that isn't a seasonal offer, and the first French missile ship).

The last pic shows the new "Destroy 1000 missiles using CIWS" task under the achievements tab, the reward being a decal.
