I recently bought a Model:Cycles and honestly, I love it. I’m probably never going to sell it. I know it’s a limited box, which is exactly why I want to add something that really complements the M:C. I’ve seen people say it works amazingly well with the Digitakt II, and that’s kind of what I’m aiming for right now.

Still, I wanted to ask whether you’ve tried pairing the Model:Cycles with other Elektron boxes and actually loved the result. I also have a Waldorf Blofeld, and the two of them sound great together, but I want something that brings a different character next to it, and it has to be Elektron.

My main styles are IDM, electro, techno, and some experimental stuff. I’ve always been drawn to weird, unique sounds and setups that make me spend hours exploring, and Elektron has always delivered that for me.

Also, just to be clear, my actual Elektron experience is pretty limited. I’ve only owned the Rytm MKI and the Model:Cycles. I’ve used the other boxes only briefly to hear how they sound, so I haven’t really had the chance to dig in properly.

Thanks to everyone who gave me advice and shared their valuable time. I ended up getting the DT II. I’ll post an update once I start jamming.
