I bought this Romanian AD-111 at the flea market the other day. It seems to be a copy of the DP-5, the scale is in Russian and has Made in USSR written on it, the buttons on the outside are in Romanian. The check source has already been removed prior to me buying it, but my main concern is the fluorescent scale, I'm pretty sure the DP-5 doesn't have radioactive paint but I've read that this one has paint made of tritium or radium. I don't have a geiger counter to check it for sure, so I hope someone knows a bit more about it. If it does have radioactive paint, is it safe to keep in my room or do I need to store it somewhere else?
