One of my best colleagues was banned from the meetings with our subcontractor
We work in a tech company and we have some scheduled meetings with our subcontractor. Lately, one of my best colleagues, who works as a systems engineer has been told by her managed that she shall not join the meetings because she is acting weird in the meetings. However, she was never offensive towards anybody in the meetings.
Maybe she had some non-offensive behaviour. For example, in the last meeting with the subcontractor, she had a stomach bug and instead of going to the lavatory, she vomited in the trashcan in the meeting room. However, are such behaviours a reason to ban someone from meetings?
The meetings are with the subcontractor, not the customer. Being presentable would be important if the meetings were with the customer. On the other hand, presentability is not that significant when it comes to meeting with the subcontractor, since we already pay them.
