Murata is once again confusing fans with a bizarre post.

Following the recent passing of the renowned LGBT celebrity Akihiro Miwa, a poem he left behind was released, containing the message:

"To live in this world, there is nothing but love. If there is love, war will cease to exist."

Murata’s reaction to this was as follows:

"It reads like idealism, yet if you interpret 'love' as 'AI,' it can also be seen as materialism. A superposition of meanings. It feels very characteristic of him. My heartfelt condolences."

While the Japanese word for "love" (*愛*) can be read as "AI," was Miwa actually arguing that AI is necessary to survive in this world and that AI would eliminate war? At the very least, Murata saw room for such an interpretation, remarking that it resembled materialism and felt true to his character.

However, Miwa never spoke about technology during his lifetime; in fact, he was someone who leaned toward practices like Reiki and horoscope fortune-telling. Furthermore, the poem was written in traditional cursive script, making it highly unlikely that he was engaging in the kind of wordplay typical of J-pop. Fans are genuinely bewildered.
