Mirror sliding from wall

Mirror sliding from wall

This mirror has slid off the wall. What would it take to put it back in place? I’m thinking of asking a task rabbit to do it but I wasn’t sure how many hours of work it would take. Thank you!

How come American hvac don’t have dry mode (dehumidifies and cheaper)

AC in Europe and Asia have dry mode so that if you don’t like such a low temp in your home you can just dehumidify and it cools down the house and makes it comfortable without using as much electricity and without cooling it down too much. Like Europeans and Asians don’t like it so cold inside—like my thermostat is on 80-81. But I feel like if my American hvac had a dry mode I would save more money. Can anyone explain why American hvacs don’t have dry mode? I guess I would have to install a whole home dehumidifier to achieve what I want right?

Someone claims I scratched their car

I was parked next to a truck and after I opened my car door the truck driver claimed that in doing so, I had scratched his door. I had gently opened my car door and never touched his truck. Moreover, where the scratch was, I could not have made the scratch without hitting his side view mirror first. No dash cam on either car.

He did not file a police report and we exchanged phone numbers without exchanging insurance information. He then calls me and says that he got an estimate for $150 to fix the scratch. What should I do? Should I tell him to take it up with my insurance company--at which point I might lose b/c I can't provide proof that I could not have done the scratch and my premium goes up? Or get scammed by this guy and have to pay him in cash? Thank you!

Edit: he also happens to be my neighbor, a few doors down. So even if I avoid his calls he can come to my door.

cheapest portable ultrasounds

I have $2100 to spend of CME money. What is the cheapest portable ultrasound I can buy? It doesn't need to be the best. I'd like to use it to preliminarily see if there's any detectable ascites for paracentesis, after which I would use my department's official non portable state of the art ultrasound machine to do the actual procedure. I just want something portable so I can carry it around instead of having to lug the big ultrasound macchine for every liver bomb.

It’s been a very rainy spring and also cold spring so I’ve had to put row covers on my early variety tomatoes. I feel like the row covers just trapped the humidity and caused this fungal disease. What is it? Other than removing all the affected leaves and avoiding the row covers should I do anything else to salvage my plants? Thank you!

How are you guys dealing with our cold spring?! Im in zone 7a and usually plant tomatoes, melons, cucumbers, zucchini, peppers, eggplants by Mother’s Day but next week is still looking 40s night and 60s day. I should be starting to harden off transplants of tomatoes, peppers and eggplants tomorrow (5/3) but I’m afraid to! I don’t want to put tomatoes in the ground and have to do row cover for the nights below 50. What are you guys doing?!

Tomato seedlings growing in happy frog. I’ve been doing once weekly liquid fertilizer (half dose, let them wick it up). But sometimes they look dry before the week is up and I end up putting plain water (no fertilizer) in the basins. Am I overwatering? Are these salvageable? Thank you!
