ABT pre-Met predictions

since we're officially one month out from the start of ABT's met season, i thought it would be fun to do a pre-season predictions thread that we can look back on at the end.

  • what are you most looking forward to seeing?
  • what do you think will be the biggest season surprise?
  • who's getting promoted? any dark horse or unexpected promotion predictions?
  • who is this a make or break season for? (i.e. if they don't get promoted now, they never will)
  • Anything else/you don't have to answer all of these lol they're just suggestions

Sub Update: the Chloe Shoe Discussion has made it mainstream (aka isabella boylston's most recent vlog)

was watching bella's recent vlog and laughed out loud when this came up 6:38

i'm going to make automod cite this moment where chloe says her shoes are purposefully too big for her feet next time there's a question about her shoes LOL

please use this thread to discuss any recent updates or posts from ballet influencers for the month of may this is intended to be a reply to u/vpsass!

in my eyes, an influencer has at minimum ~10k-20k followers (not a hard number), does brand deals, and/or has some broader name recognition in the online ballet world. this thread was never intended to discuss normal individuals beginning ballet or students auditioning for a company that have a hundred or even a thousand followers.

if you think a person mentioned in these threads does not qualify as an influencer, please report the comment as unrelated content (rule #3) so the mods can check it out. thank you!!!
