Been wondering this since forever, but it's been driving me even more crazy than usual with V2.5's quirks.

Is there a reason the storyteller continues the story in between prompts? Can it be updated to not do that?

There's not a lot more frustrating than being asked to fill out your character info, only for the story to be several turns deep before we get to actually interact with the story.

A good story (IMO) has several character-building prompts to start, like name, appearance, personality, and whatever other series-relevant information like abilities or backstory.

Meanwhile, while we're filling in those prompts, instead of asking the prompts back to back with no story in between (which is what I would like, and what makes sense to me), the AI's churning out wall after wall of text, and sometimes even progressing to the next scene. So it's just controlling our character, or churning out stupid "MC - that's my name, it's been my name forever and I'm saying it out loud because it feels right in my mouth" style text like the professor assigned them a 5 page essay and they need to just create filler.

Prompts being integrated into the story just really... almost never work well.

There's always a million cliches with AI, and even if one version has its favorites, V1-3 have always had the same ones.

But I've noticed this week that, shall we say, there is something uniquely V3. 😭

V3 has a thing for neck cracking. Rolling shoulders. You dont just stretch, you roll your shoulders and crack your neck, even if you're a dainty delicate flower who moves gracefully and smoothly in all other instances.

Where did this quirk come from???

It seems like it might not know how... I've noticed a pattern where it doesnt take any initiative in spicy scenes, even with explicit consent. It just presses bodies like Barbie dolls and says a witty one-liner over and over and over and over again, until it finally decides to go "then hours later the plot moves on".

I think it might need the birds and the bees talk...
