HELP! Dress arrived a much different color than expected, dyeing 100 percent polyester?

I ordered a dress on Vinted for a wedding and the color in person is VERY bright green like a neon almost and I was hoping to salvage it as it’s otherwise perfect.

The pictures really don’t show how green it is in person. Tag says machine wash cold.

Is there any hope to dye this?? If so, what color would counteract the green? Was hoping for a faded teal/light blue color. Could even dye it navy blue if that would be possible.
