(Request $550 #San Diego, CA, USA), (payback #550 June 5th)
I start my job on Wednesday as a full time caregiver and I'm hoping to find a way to return to school this summer and finish my degree. My life was pretty perfect unfortunately I trusted the wrong person. I dated an individual for 4 1/2 years, normal healthy relationship.
I moved in December and he did something called coercive control. I moved out in April. In those 4 months he was able to destroy my finances, my credit, my resources, and temporarily my education.
He owes me $10,299.
I've been able to get things together pretty well, and most importantly my cats are safe and stable. My apartment is partnered with Flex pay, so 1 paid $1000 at the beginning of the month, and today I owe the remaining $500.
My dad has helped me out as much as he could and he is not the richest. Without the support from loved ones getting out of the situation would have been a challenge. They have made it clear 1 am on my own now and I won't ask more of someone than they're willing to give.
If someone would be willing to spot me the $500 due today for rent, I would be very thankful.
I haven't had much food for the past week either but I think I will be getting expedited food assistance on Monday.
