Hi!

I’m planning to climb Mont Blanc, but haven’t decided yet between the Goûter and Gonella routes.

I’m looking at the Rab Alpine Waterproof in 20D and 40D and wondering which would be the better choice. Is the 20D durable enough for Mont Blanc, or is the extra durability of the 40D worth the added weight?

I’d appreciate any advice from people with experience on Mont Blanc or similar alpine climbs. I might consider Elbrus or Kazbek in the future, but for now I’m focusing on Mont Blanc.
