How difficult is it to get an ETA if you have past refusals for a Canadian tourist visa? For context if I get an American tourist visa, the next step is to get an eta and not have to go the Canadian tourist visa route. I suppose the idea is that if America border officers believes you will return home and issue you a visa, then it increases your chances of entry into Canada

Has anybody ever tried entering Canada with an American B1/B2 travel visa and an eta? If so what was that process like and did it work?

My girlfriend is trying to apply for a Visitors Visa. Her visa was refused and we are trying to apply again, however we cannot find the option to apply again on the new portal version. Is this normal or is this a technical error? Is there somewhere else we should look to reapply?
