I recently bought a Brompton, and none of the backpack options seemed better than my Aer. So I bought this 30×20 cm frame to use with the bag's trolley strap. It might not be a long-term solution since it could stretch over time, but it works well so far.

I’m planning to buy a new Brompton and can't decide between these two options. There’s only a $75 difference, with the 2023 6-speed being the more expensive one. I’ll mostly be riding in a flat city, so I’d love to hear your thoughts: besides gearing, is there any other reason to choose the 2023 model over the 2026 model?
Update: Thank you all for your very helpful comments. Unfortunately, the store no longer has the 2026 model in black and it will take 2-3 weeks for new stock to arrive. I was not particlarly impressed with other colors. So, I’ve decided to go with the 2023 one in racing green, which also seemed cool.
