My figure skate tech ghosted me?
I bought skates like almost two months ago now, I wanted to invest because its seemed more practal than buying rentals each time.
I just started my learn to skate at that time so I talked to my arena’s skate tech and I got fitted. He recommended me some skates which were about $350 plus extra. It’s also going to be customized because my feet are wierdly shaped.
I signed the papers and payed the money and he said it would be done that same week. It wasnt so I waited another week anda few days after until I called him and he said its not done yet and he will text me when it is done. Totally fine, I understand.
Its been several weeks later no updates, so I recently sent him a text message and he hasn’t responded.
I don’t want to be rude or make it seem like I am rushing him, I know it is a very busy job and he’s a tech at theee top training facility where olympians come all the time, so I get that a beginner like me wouldn’t be too much of a priority.
But what should I do should I call again? Does it usually take this long? I have gotten zero updates.
